History

The Bornemisza family is recorded as a landholder in Buza from 1599, when Queen Isabella gave Benedek Bornemisza half of the village, taken from Ferenc Bebek for disloyalty. The present manor dates from the 19th century. In the 1960s it housed a cooperative, and in the 2000s it served as a food shop, which is the use listed in 2010.
