History
The Béldy family settled in the Geaca area in the 19th century. Ákos Béldi (1846-1932), prefect of Cluj County from 1888 to 1905, moved here with his family and had the castle built in 1880. The rectangular building (about 17 x 11 m) has a basement, ground floor, upper floor and attic, with an entrance framed by Doric columns carrying a terrace. Ownership was returned to a descendant of the family after restitution. Romanian Wikipedia describes the interior as destroyed, and Monumente Uitate lists the building with no current function.
