History
Castle in Transylvania dates the building to the 17th-19th centuries and describes a one-floor compact block with four octagonal towers, the south-eastern one originally two storeys until the communist authorities ordered its demolition. The estate was bought in 1907 by a member of the Szente family for farming. The residence was nationalised in 1949 and then housed a primary school and later a special school for children with physical disabilities. It returned to the family in 1997, and its owner is now trying to restore it. Monumente Uitate lists its function as a dispensary.
