Summary

A neo-Romanian manor of the early 20th century in Târgșoru Vechi (Prahova County), within the archaeological reserve of the old princely court. It was the seat of the Moruzi family's model farm.

History

The Moruzi family were the last owners of the site. Early in the 20th century they set up a farm for crops and livestock on Western European lines, and the manor was built in the neo-Romanian style in the west-northwest part of the archaeological reserve. The ensemble is described as an industrial-agrarian archaeology complex.
