History
The manor in Herendești is dated to the late 19th century and is listed among the castles and manors of Timiș County under the Herglotz name. In the interwar period a landowner named Edmund Herglotz-Friedman is recorded in the village. After nationalisation in the communist era the building served as a state agricultural or cooperative facility, and after 1989 the village kindergarten operated in it. By 2014 it stood abandoned, its roof fallen in, and its garden was being used informally as a rubbish dump; the original floors and wall paint were still visible. The surviving owners were reported to live abroad and to have shown no interest in it.
