History

In the early 20th century the Bukovinszky family took over an estate in Gavojdia, and by 1912 they and the Schwab family held the largest share of the village land. Most large estates were broken up by the 1924 land reform. The mansion later passed to institutional use; Monumente Uitate gives it as a psychiatric hospital, whereas Hungarian Wikipedia describes it as an old-people's home. It is listed as not accessible.
