History
According to the plaque on the building, as transcribed by welcometoromania.ro, the foundation was built in 1842 by Szabó Farkas of Turia de Jos and Daniel Polixszéna of Vârghiș. The same plaque records a reconstruction in 1893 by Gyula Szentiványi and Szabó Polixszéna of Turia de Jos; the list of castles and manors of Sălaj County also gives 1893. The same site says the restored old building now houses an old people's home, partly hidden behind the institution's newer building.
