History
The manor in Apa (Satu Mare County) was built in 1874, according to Welcome to Romania. Berenczei Kováts Gyula was one of the major landowners of nineteenth-century Apa, working about 1,500 hectares with day laborers; the Romanian Wikipedia article on Apa names him and Gyula Szent-Ivány as the village's two largest estate holders in the early 1900s. The building later housed an auxiliary school. It was returned to heirs and is now abandoned, with no restoration reported. Monumente Uitate lists it with no current function and as not accessible.
