History
The manor stands in Argeșelu, formerly Ciumești, just north of Pitești. In the late 19th century the main landowners of Ciumești included members of the Micescu family, and the ensemble is listed under the name of Istrate Micescu. The official heritage list dates the ensemble to the early 20th century and counts the manor, park pavilions, service buildings and park among its components. Monumente Uitate records its function as an events centre.
