Summary
An early 18th-century Bánffy family castle in Boghiș (Szilágybagos), Sălaj County, built in 1719-1720. It now operates as a social care home for the elderly.
History
In 1576 Prince István Báthory granted the village of Monyoród, which lay within the territory of Bagos, to the Bánffy family. The Bánffy castle there is dated to 1720 by the Hungarian Wikipedia article and to 1719 by the Romanian one. Monumente Uitate records the building as an old people's home.
