History
The manor was the residence of the Argetoianu family; the politician Constantin Argetoianu spent time there as a child in 1888. By about 1997 the building housed a school and kindergarten, and the estate winery fell into ruin after 1989. By 2005 the manor had passed to a private owner who planned a renovation and a guesthouse in the former estate office, while former owners said they had not been paid in full.
