Summary
A manor house in Hoghiz (Brașov County), dated to the 16th-19th centuries and associated with the Haller de Hallerkő family; today it is a school. It is a separate building from the two-towered Haller–Kálnoky castle next to it.
History
The Hoghiz estate long belonged to the Sükösd family and later came to the Treasury. In 1667 Prince Mihály Apafi donated it to Tamás Borsai Nagy, and through his daughter's marriage in 1684 it passed to the Bethlen family. By 1716 it belonged to Countess Kata Bethlen, who favoured it for decades, and through marriage it later became Haller property. Monumente Uitate lists its function as a school.
