History
The building is presumed to date from 1553 and was modified in the 18th century; it may have belonged to the Haller family. In the mid-19th century Károly Gutenau managed the estate and in 1885 Count János Haller took it over. After the communist takeover it deteriorated and changed hands several times. According to Adevărul, in 2014 it was auctioned at EUR 50,000 in bankruptcy proceedings and bought by a private individual for an unknown price, and in 2015 it was advertised on OLX at EUR 38,000. The paper also reported that the building was occupied informally by local residents.
