Summary
An 18th-century manor ensemble (manor house plus outbuildings) in Țelna, Ighiu commune, Alba County, held by the Teleki family from 1690. Its present state and ownership are not known.
History
Țelna passed to the Chapter of Alba Iulia in 1486 and has belonged to the Teleki family since 1690. The manor house dates to the 18th century and is listed together with its outbuildings as an ensemble. On 10 November 1784 villagers plundered the village's manor houses and cellars. The village is also noted as a place where crop rotation was first tried by reformers. Its nationalisation, restitution and later fate are not known.
