History

The manor was built in 1794 in the south-western part of the town, in the old Semeria quarter. An inscription in the first room names József Serestéj and Sára Móritz with the year. The house is of ashlar stone with a rectangular plan set perpendicular to the street and only two rooms, and resembles houses of the Barcaság area. Its vaulted cellar entrance on the street front has had its ceiling replaced with a concrete slab, and none of the farm buildings in the courtyard survive.
