History
The manor was built at the start of the 18th century and rebuilt in the 19th and 20th centuries, in an eclectic style; the Hungarian Wikipedia article on Kilyén dates it to the 1820s. After the Second World War it was nationalised, and by the end of the 20th century it was badly dilapidated and looted, its outbuildings gone and the surrounding land sold or built over. It is now owned by the municipality of Sfântu Gheorghe and used as a home for children with multiple disabilities.
