History
According to a 2006 report in Ziarul de Vrancea, the Leonida manor stood until 1948 in the middle of an estate of several hundred hectares with outbuildings. After nationalisation it passed to the local state farm (I.A.S.) and the owners were evicted. Between the 1950s and 1990s it was used, among other things, as a shelter for day labourers, and by 2006 it was a ruin with broken windows, destroyed doors and the roof blown off. In 2006 it was still in the patrimony of SC Agroindustriala SA Mărășești, and the Leonida heirs were claiming it under Law 247 of 2005. A 2013 report says it was left to decay and had no function.
