Summary

A 19th-century house at the entrance to Vitănești village (Țifești commune, Vrancea County), in front of the mill on the Sârbi-Clipicești commune road. It is a listed historic monument.

History

The Cincu house is dated to the 19th century in the national list of historic monuments and stands at the village entrance opposite the mill. Vatra MCP describes the Cincu family as Moldavian boyars who owned the Vitănești estate; in 1929 Teodor Cincu donated nearly 5 hectares of that estate to the Focșani city hall for water capture, asking that a public fountain be built and the donated forest never be cut. Monumente Uitate has an entry for the house and lists it as accessible.
