History
The LMI dates the building to 1608 with repairs in 1829. Local tourism pages describe it as built in the early 17th century and brought to its present form, after several rebuildings and extensions, in the late 19th century. Monumente Uitate links it to the Könczey de Karathna family. It is a rectangular two-row building with a double shingle roof and, on the south side, an arcaded portico on square pillars; a gable niche once held a building inscription, of which only the word for 'built' survives. According to the Ținutul Apelor and Virtualis Székelyföld pages, only the north and east rooms are in use, lived in by descendants of former owners, while the dining room and western rooms stand empty. According to kastelyerdelyben.ro the shingle roof is damaged and water leaks in constantly.
