Summary
A neo-Romanian manor on the Dobrușa hill at the edge of Drăgășani (Vâlcea County), set among vineyards and used as a winery. It is the centre of a family wine estate.
History
Press accounts date the estate to 1927, when the manor, surrounded by vineyards, was bought by Maria and Iancu Râmniceanu. Decades later their descendants returned to the property and restarted winemaking in 2007. The estate now grows around 30 to 43 hectares of vines, including a variety found only here, and runs a winery under the Avincis name.
