History
Constantin Romanov, of a family of Russian origin unrelated to the imperial dynasty, built the manor in 1920-1925 to plans by the architect Grigore Cerchez. About 50 ha, including a model farm, remained to the family in 1945, and everything was expropriated in 1949. The building then served as a pioneers' camp, the seat of a horticultural trust and a special school. The family's descendants recovered the property in October 1998 under Law 112/1995. The estate includes a four-storey tower, an ice house, a 33 x 12 m pool and a 1.5 ha lake in a 6.2 ha park.
