History
The Historic Monuments List dates the ensemble to 1936, while Vatra MCP and the Argeș press say the manor was built around 1898-1900 by the boyar C. A. Vlădescu, a member of a well-known Argeș boyar family. According to Jurnalul de Argeș it had 23 rooms, a belvedere, porches, a prayer chapel and several salons, over a basement with brick vaults. Vlădescu died around 1926 and the property passed to his descendants, who held it until March 1949, when the communist state nationalised it. It then became the headquarters of a state agricultural enterprise (I.A.S.). According to Ziarul Argeșul (2019) the property was later returned to former owners, but the manor stood abandoned and in disrepair, with only the vaulted cellar sound; Jurnalul de Argeș states that the building has since collapsed.
