History
The village of Sövényfalva (Cornești) is first mentioned in 1332 and lies on the Târnava Mică, about 8 km south-west of Diciosânmartin. The manor there is associated with the Orbók de Kőkős family and the Bethlen de Bethlen family. Monumente Uitate records the building as having no present function. The commune article for Adămuș notes that several noble manors once stood in the area and were destroyed.
