History

The Szilvási and Toldi owners built the two eastern bastions in the 17th-18th centuries. A beam inscription records building works in 1669. The baroque and classicist walls were largely rebuilt in the 18th-19th centuries. The Gothic chapel at the end of the north wing has lost its vault, with only fresco fragments near the altar.
