History
According to Hungarian Wikipedia, the Hollósy family bought the Gertenyes estate from the state treasury in 1829. The manor house in the village was built by Mihály Hollósy. After the death of Bogdán Hollósy in 1859 his children divided the estate into five parts, and in the early 20th century shares were held by several families and individuals. The village was also the birthplace of the singer Kornélia Hollósy (born 1827). Monumente Uitate lists the manor as accessible; its present condition and use are not known.
