According to travel pages, the manor was the former residence of the Filipești (Filipescu) boyars; one blog places the boyar Filipescu there around the 18th century. The building has been restored and now operates as a guesthouse with a restaurant, a garden and facilities for weddings and other events, about 7 km from Botoșani. Monumente Uitate lists the manor as accessible.
