History
The Dimitrie Sturdza manor in Cârligi is entered on the official list of historic monuments with a dating of the 17th-18th centuries, and Monumente Uitate connects it with the Sturdza family. It is a two-storey building with a large basement, standing about 100 m from the village church as part of a former boyar ensemble. According to a 2014 press report it later served as a cultural hall of the collective farm and was then abandoned; by 2008 its beams were rotten and interior walls had collapsed. Its owner replaced beams, repaired the roof and added a ring beam in 2012, and planned to turn it into a guesthouse, while an agricultural firm used the basement as a store.
