Summary

A manor in Reci (Réty), Covasna County, dated 1825 by the monument list and linked to the Antos de Rét family, whose members included judges and soldiers. It later served as a health centre and dispensary, and was renovated in 2012.

History

The monument list dates the manor to 1825. It was rebuilt several times, but its colonnade kept its original form and probably reached its present shape around 1828. The Antos family played a notable role in the history of Covasna County, and its members included judges, vice-judges and soldiers. After nationalisation the building served as a health centre, and its interior layout was reworked in 1964: the former dining room became an anteroom, a pharmacy and a treatment room, and the kitchen became a hall and a bathroom. The manor was renovated in 2012 with European and local public funds. It is still listed as a dispensary and staff dwelling, and afternoon classes for high-school pupils are also held there.
