History
According to the sale listing, wine has been made here since 1801, when the property was the Josef Domany estates; it became a supplier to the Imperial Court in Vienna (K.u.K. Hoflieferant) in 1899. Miniș wines won prizes in London (1862, 1876) and Budapest (1875, 1884). The cellars later belonged to a state agricultural enterprise, and an entrepreneur's company bought them from the state in 1998 and restarted the winery in 2002. The estate keeps three 200 m2 cellars, two mid-19th-century houses used for tastings and about 3.13 ha of D.O.C. Miniș vines. It was offered for EUR 950,000 in November 2022, and the Sotheby's listing shows an original price of EUR 690,000.
