History
The curia is recorded in the national list of historic monuments (MM-II-m-B-04751) as belonging to the Dunca family and dated to the 19th century, at house number 128; it was the only listed monument in Slătioara. According to Gazeta de Maramureș (5 November 2007), the house vanished three or four years earlier. The article quotes the local school director as saying that the house, known in the village as the house of the midwife from Susani, was bought and taken to Viseu, where the project was abandoned and it rotted, and that a new house now stands on the plot. Local authorities told the newspaper that time had destroyed it, and the Maramureș Museum director said the museum holds the Dunca house from Sieu, not the one from Slătioara. The newspaper noted that the listing had not been updated.
