History
The manor was designed by an Italian architect for the Roșianu landowner of Turburea, a former lawyer at the royal court, and is more than a century old. After the owner's death it housed the town hall, a dispensary and later a maternity ward. It was not repaired after 1989 and was stripped by vandals. The town hall donated the building and grounds to the Metropolis of Oltenia, which in 2022 spoke of a restoration costing over 10 million euros, with a guesthouse in the manor and a monastic complex around it.
