Summary

A manor house in Mica (Mikefalva), Mureș County, with an 18th-century Baroque core and later eclectic features. It now houses public offices, including the town hall, and is a listed monument.

History

The manor in Mica dates from the 18th century (or the late 18th century, with a second phase in the 19th) and was rebuilt several times. It is a multi-storey quadrangular building with a mansard roof, originally Baroque; in the 19th century it gained eclectic elements, among them a polygonal corner tower and a veranda linking two corner structures. It is also known as the Keresztes–Eperjesi manor. After nationalisation its furniture and fittings were stolen, and only one tile stove remains. Today it is public property and houses the local authority.
