History

The heritage list dates the manor to 1840-1850, while a 2019 local newspaper report places it at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries or in the first half of the 18th century. According to that report, the village bought the building from the Konnáth family in the late 19th century to run the lower school; later it housed a school and then a kindergarten. The attic skylights disappeared around 1970. The commune had the building renovated with a grant from the national rural development programme, rebuilding the skylights and replacing the whole roof; it took the finished building over in 2019. After the works the kindergarten stays in the east wing, while the large hall and west wing serve cultural events.
