History

The manor is dated 1880 in the official heritage list. According to descendants of the family, quoted on Vatra MCP, the Domokos family owned it until the communist regime took over; the family held substantial properties and ran businesses including alcohol production. During collectivisation the state confiscated the manor and converted it into housing for several families. Farm buildings that once stood along the path from the village to the manor courtyard were destroyed by a major fire, which changed the appearance of the complex. In 2021 Radio Mureș reported it among the Covasna monuments needing urgent interventions.
