History
The manor is dated to the mid-19th century and carries the name of the Deparățeanu family. The poet and politician Alexandru Depărățeanu (1835-1865), author of Ciocoii vechi și ciocoii noi, was born in Deparați; no link between him and this building is documented. The village was renamed Schela in 1964 and took back the name Deparați in 2000. According to a local newspaper, the poet spent his childhood on his father's estate at Deparați, and the Depărățeanu boyar family held land there. The later history of the building is not known.
