Summary
A boyar court in Sângeru (Prahova County), dated 1793, made up of a two-storey manor, the St Andrew church, a bell tower and an enclosure wall. The manor of the family of treasurer Andrei Bozianu houses the Sângeru Village Museum, run by Prahova County Council.
History
The ensemble is listed as monument PH-II-a-A-16606 with the manor (.01), St Andrew church (.02), bell tower (.03) and enclosure wall (.04), and Wikipedia gives 1793 as completion date. The museum guide dates the manor itself to the 17th century, describing two storeys of massive stone and brick walls with a wooden veranda on the south side, which conflicts with the 1793 date. The manor belonged to the family of treasurer Andrei Bozianu. The Sângeru Village Museum was set up in it in 2001, with church objects, archaeological finds and folk costumes, and is part of the Prahova County Museum of History and Archaeology.
