History
The official heritage list dates the manor ensemble to the end of the 19th century. According to a 2024 Adevărul report, it was built at the start of the 20th century by Pavelică Brătășanu, described as a politician and philanthropist, and hosted Nicolae Titulescu, Take Ionescu and Octavian Goga; the report cites historian Aurelia Grosu. The communist authorities confiscated the manor and used it as the headquarters of the Poiana state agricultural enterprise (IAS) and for some years for a youth work site. The same report says the doors, windows, staircase, parquet and stoves were removed by villagers in 1945-1950 and after 2000, and that in the 2000s the manor was returned to the family's heirs. The Olt county heritage office is quoted as saying that no restoration request has been filed. Monumente Uitate records the manor as having no current function.
